The political results of CUBLI's work weren't immediate. It took many years, and plenty of ups and downs. By the early 2030s, however, it was apparent that political culture had shifted. Deliberative dialogue and decisions based on principles of justice, solid scientific reasoning, as well as ethics of care, became a norm.

Around Europe, CUBLI spearheaded various initiatives. These were accompanied by similar acts in the rest of the world. Successful ones include, but are not limited to:

  1. Cessation of new fossil fuel infrastructure.
  2. Debt cancellations for the global south.
  3. Universal basic services.
  4. 4-day work week.
  5. Climate reparations.
  6. Divestment from cars.
  7. International limits on flights.
  8. Animal rights raised to the level of human rights.
